Hi, I’m Max Sabo, your Reno, Nevada real estate agent, and this is the Real Estate Housing Market Update for January 2024, covering the sales from December 2023. This last month, we saw the effects of being in a low inventory, high interest rate environment. The number of sales decreased to 346 homes sold last month, the month before 380 homes sold. We currently have 774 active listings. Last month, we had 849 active listings. So we saw both a decrease in the number of listings and a decrease in the number of sales, leaving us with about the same month’s worth of inventory at 2.2 months.
