Hi, I’m Max Sabo, your Reno, Nevada real estate agent. This is the Real Estate Housing Market Update for February 2024, covering the sales from January 2024. 

This past month we saw a 317 home sell, which is down slightly from the month before when we saw a 346 home sell. We currently have 685 active listings. Last month during our update we had 774 active listings. So both those numbers, they dropped this past month, but the months worth of inventory actually stayed the same at 2.2 months worth of inventory. And that’s because we have fewer listings and fewer home selling, and so those even each other out. The one thing I have noticed is that homes that are priced very well right now and are in good condition, they’re selling quite fast. The homes that sit on the market, they seem to be the homes that have a condition issue or pricing issue, or maybe they’re a very high priced home that sits on the market longer historically anyways. But if you’re in that $500,000 range, things are selling quickly. That’s our update for this month.
