Hi, I’m Max Sabo, your Reno, Nevada real estate agent. This is the Real Estate Housing Market Update for May, 2023, covering the sales from April, 2023. 

Last month, the real estate market was fairly stable. The median home price stayed under $500,000 and $499,450. Last month, we had 440 a homes sell, which was down slightly from the prior month, when we had 481 homes sell. There are currently 690 active listings, up slightly from last month, when we had 633 active listings. 

We are still in a very tight market, with only 1.5 months worth of inventory. The spring selling season will be here soon, and we’ll be watching closely to see how that affects the number of listings available, as well as how many homes are for sale.
